How To Guide

Passkey for Blu-ray & UHD is a powerful Blu-ray decrypter, which can remove almost all known protections and region code restrictions embedded in all Blu-rays to make all Blu-rays accessible for users.

Note: A Blu-ray drive is necessary to read the source BD.

Step 1
Launch Passkey for Blu-ray & UHD
Double click Passkey 9 to run it, and choose Blu-ray from the welcome window. Then, click the "Start Passkey" button. Afterwards, Passkey will automatically minimize itself into the system tray and detect whether there is media in your Blu-ray drive.
Step 2
Load the source and start the decryption
Insert the BD into the drive, Passkey will immediately begin the decryption task. In the system tray area, a small decryption window pops up. When the green bar reaches the end, it means the decryption is complete.

And you can get the detailed info regarding the source disc and status from the interface when you open Passkey, including what kind of protections embedded in have been removed.
Step 3
Post-decryption operation
After the decryption is finished, you can play the decrypted Blu-ray with any player. You can also rip it to your hard disc or image by right-clicking on the icon of Passkey minimized into the system tray, and clicking "Rip to Hard Disk" or "Rip to Image" from the options. Then, choose the output target in the following pop-up window.

Note that if you check the textbox "Keep Protection" when you rip the decrypted Blu-ray to Image, you will get a copy-protected ISO image file finally.
