How To Guide

Passkey for DVD is the best and most efficient DVD decrypter that can read almost all kinds of DVDs and quickly remove the protections and region code restrictions without producing any damage to the original DVD quality.

Step 1
Run Passkey for DVD
Double click Passkey 9 to run it, and choose DVD from the welcome window. Then, click the "Start Passkey" button. Afterwards, Passkey will automatically minimize itself into the system tray and detect whether there is a DVD disc in your drive.
Step 2
Load the source to be decrypted
Insert the source DVD into the drive, Passkey will immediately begin the decryption task. In the system tray area, a small decryption window pops up. When the green bar reaches the end, it means the decryption is complete.

And you can get the detailed info regarding the source disc and status from the interface when you open Passkey, including what kind of protections embedded in have been removed.
Step 3
Post-decryption operation
After the decryption is finished, you can play the source DVD with any player. You can also rip it to your hard disc or image by right-clicking on the icon of Passkey minimized into the system tray, and clicking "Rip to Hard Disk" or "Rip to Image" from the options. Then, choose the output target in the following pop-up window.

Note that if you check the textbox "Keep Protection" when you rip the decrypted DVD to Image, you will get a copy-protected ISO image file finally.
