With that in mind, today we’re going to take a look at some of the best movies of all time that are either primarily focused on the action or feature enough action scenes to constantly keep you at the edge of your seat. All these movies can be found on YouTube, though some might be a bit hard to find, not available in English or split into multiple parts because of copyright issues. Black Panther

Some of the best YouTube action movies came out very recently, as is the case with Black Panther. The highly acclaimed film was released in February 2018 and instantly became a huge success. Black Panther takes place shortly after the events of Captain America: Civil War and gives us the first good look at the reclusive nation of Wakanda in all of its glory.

Ready Player One

This is definitely one of the best action movies on YouTube to watch if you’re a fan of pop culture. It’s not an exaggeration to say that there have never been so many pop culture references crammed into a single movie before Ready Player One. The best thing about it is that it all makes sense in the context of the movie. Ready Player One takes place in a futuristic world where virtual reality allows people to create the avatar of their dreams. For many people that means pretending to be Freddy Krueger, Master Chief or Marty from Back to the Future.

Enter the Dragon

There are plenty of good YouTube action movies starring Bruce Lee but this is arguably the best. Enter the Dragon is the last movie made by the iconic martial artists and was released shortly after his death. Martial arts movies are not nearly as popular nowadays as they were when this movie came out but Enter the Dragon will forever remain a classic of the genre.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is one of the most intense action movies on YouTube from 2017. The sequel picks up where the original left off but takes place in a different setting. This time around, Eggsy travels to America to meet up with the US branch of the Kingsman Secret Service known as the Statesmen. The Statesmen are a bit over-the-top and even ridiculous at times but the action scenes are top-notch and the new villain played by Julianne Moore is quite interesting.

Chronicle

One of the most recent YouTube action movies on our list, Chronicle tells the story of three teenagers who gain superpowers after a freak accident. In many ways, Chronicle starts off similar to a lot of superhero origin stories but the movie quickly takes a darker turn as the teenagers begin to master their newly-found powers. A pretty underrated movie that you should definitely check out on YouTube if you’re a fan of superhero films.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith

A very funny movie starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie that came out at a time when “Brangelina” was still a thing. The two have divorced since then so if you were a fan of the famous super couple make sure to add Mr.s & Mrs. Smith to your free action movies on YouTube playlist. The two actors play a couple of married assassins that are hired to kill each other, which is somewhat ironic seeing as how they’ve been at each other’s throats in real life since their divorce.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Easily one of the most popular and well-known YouTube action movies right. It’s actually a bit surprising to see that The Hobbit is available for free on YouTube and in HD quality to boot. An Unexpected Journey is the first part of The Hobbit trilogy, which takes place before the events of the Lords of the Rings movies. The story focuses on Frodo’s father, Bilbo Baggins, as he accompanies a group of dwarves on a quest to reclaim their home.

Avengers: Infinity War

The wait is finally over. Shortly after its release on DVD and Blu-Ray, Infinity War became available to rent or buy under the YouTube action movies section. And it’s definitely worth checking out if you’ve been keeping up with all the Marvel movies so far. Avengers: Infinity War brings together almost every Marvel superhero from all the previous movies and pits them against the biggest threat they’ve ever encountered in the form of Thanos, the Mad Titan.

Riddick

This is the second entry in one of the best YouTube action movies trilogies from the last decade. All three movies are actually available for free on YouTube but Riddick seems to have the best English version so we recommend starting with this one. The prequel Pitch Black and the sequel The Chronicles of Riddick are also very good action movies so be sure to watch the full trilogy when you get the chance. This particular entry focuses on Riddick’s escape from a desolated planet inhibited by terrifying alien monsters.

Starship Troopers

No list of YouTube action movies, or just action movies in general, would be complete without Starship Troopers. This is a sci-fi classic set in a distant future where humanity is fighting a war against giant insect-like monsters. There’s plenty of action going on but also a good amount of humor as the humans are actually the bad guys who invade alien planets while the insects are just trying to protect their worlds. It’s definitely pretty cheesy but also very enjoyable at the same time.

Part 2. How to Download These Action Movies from YouTube

Some of the movies we discussed today can be watched directly on YouTube but others may require a bit of tweaking to improve their quality. Of course, in order to do this you’ll first need to download them using a tool like StreamFab YouTube Video Downloader. With this free piece of software you can download all the YouTube action movies you want and then adjust the quality using other online tools. Here’s how the software works:

1. First off, open DVDFab and look for the Utilities tab (it’s the last tab to the right). Click on it and then click on the last tool named YouTube Video Downloader.

2. Use the search function in the new window that appears to look for the movie you wish to download. For example, you can type in something like Starship Troopers full movie and then hit Enter. Note that YouTube may require you to be signed in to watch certain videos.

3. Once you’ve opened up the video look for a blue Download button, which should be located in the top left corner. Click on it to select the video quality of the output. The available options will vary depending on the quality of the upload so you might see 480p on some videos while others might have 720p or better. Once you click on the option you want the video will begin downloading automatically.

4. Go to the Download tab to check on the progress and pause or cancel the download if necessary. You can also pick the destination folder by clicking on the little folder icon located in the lower left corner of the menu.
